Eu-Ra Europe Rating S.p.A. is an Italian credit rating agency which operates in line with international conduct fundamentals and standards for credit rating agencies: objectivity, independence, transparency, information publicity, disclosure.

From the beginning of its activity, Eu-Ra Europe Rating has issued opinions on the creditworthiness of a particular issuer or financial instrument.

The main purpose of Eu-Ra consists in obtaining the recognition from the competent authority (in Italy Banca d'Italia) as an External Credit Assessment Institution (ECAI), as provided for by Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (Basel II Agreement) and for Italian regulation.
